Medicine ToDEI Podcast

Over the summer before my senior year, I began creating a podcast called Medicine ToDEI. It combined my interests in healthcare and diversity by focusing on the intersectionality’s between the two, whether it be amongst the providers, patients, or even type of healthcare. I interviewed experts from different fields in order to increase my base knowledge on DEI and medicine both independently and in relation to each other. From there, I recorded conversations between different experts and myself focusing on particular topics I thought bringing a wider level of education and awareness to was important. Some podcast episodes I’ve published so far investigate reproductive health and the disproportionate access WOC have, as well as alternative medicine in contrast to modern medicine.
